Reason for inclusion: Under her leadership the Woman's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU) became the largest and most powerful woman's organization in the world and it is the oldest (nearly 150 years) continuous woman's organization. Willard built the WCTU into a force for wide-ranging reforms under her "Do Everything Policy", including woman suffrage, social justice, and world peace.
